3. Ancient Ram Inn, Gloucestershire
This inn is said to be built on a pagan burial and is famous for child sacrifice and devil worship that took place here. Many guests have left the hotel at midnight due to reported abnormal activities and shadows. Bishop house is one of the most haunted rooms of this place and witnessed visions of a wandering little girl. There are many photographs claiming to be unedited, showing blur images of ghosts.
4. Borley Rectory, Essex
The building was destroyed by a fire in 1939, but Borley Rectory is one of the most haunted places in England and is open for ventures by fearless tourists. Many unexplained paranormal activities have been registered here such as two headless horsemen, the phantom, ringing of the servant's bells. But, the most famous is a ghost of a nun who was sentenced to death after she tried to flee with a monk.
5. The village of Prestbury, Cheshire
Prestbury is a beautiful village situated at the edge of Cotswolds. If you ever visit the place, you would never feel that the place is considered as one of the scariest towns in England because there is nothing scary about it from outside. But according to the reports, ‘The Black Abbot' ghosts visit the village three times a year, i.e., Easter, Christmas, and All Saint's Day and has been seen at funerals too.
