Scenario
Identify the simulated business or social enterprise your own choice and it could be a local or a small business. You are required to select something interesting or have some knowledge or access to resources or skills through personal network.
Prepare a report of a business plan for the growth of your small business or social enterprise.
The report should:
Analyse key consideration of growth opportunities and justify these consideration in context to Aston Chemicals and identify the growth opportunities by applying Ansoff’s growth matrix. Also discuss options for growth using framework to demonstrate the competitive advantage in organisation. Evaluate specific options and pathways for growth considering the risk of all option and how it can be mitigated.
Evaluate sources of funding accessible to businesses and discuss advantage and disadvantage of each source. Assess sources of funding and justification for the adoption of an appropriate source of funding for selected organisation. Measure sources of funding with justified argument for the adoption of a particular source based on needs of organisation.
