1. Reflection of the affect of my leadership style on future group work

Being a leader, enormous number of changes can be included in the organisation that can help the company in making various modifications and thus, achieving all the objectives and targets at a much faster rate (Chen and Rybak, 2017). After scoring from the sum of the responses of items 4, 5, 8, 11, 14 and 18, the leadership style has been analysed as the democratic one. Democratic leadership is also considered as participative leadership in which all the members have been involved equally in the decision making process. So, being a democratic leader, it can actually help the organisation as involving every member in the decision making process seems to be an essential idea. It is because this helps in a better productivity. A single mind can think of a few ideas but various minds can think of enormous ideas. So, when a higher amount of the team members have been included in the decision making process, different ideas will pop out.  Then, on the basis of that, the one suitable and relevant enough can be chosen. Being a democratic leader, the team can get further benefits as well. Some very well known and common examples of this includes that because of an effective decision making, there will be an efficient amount of interaction as well between them, which is considered necessary to get the stress out. Also, it helps in making the environment happier and healthier.

2. Different backgrounds in the group

While working in a team, there is a possibility that the other members might be from different backgrounds. So, respecting each is an essential factor. It is because every single culture or group has its own value and it should be respected as well. There can be different people in a group and it is not necessary that they belong to same culture, background etc. There might be some people who must be having a lower family income as well (Moran, Abramson and Moran, 2014). So, treating them equally in the group are the ethics and values that are very essential to be present while dealing with people from different backgrounds. Respecting each other's culture and religion is a very essential factor which can help the person to achieve the targets and goals efficiently. Also, interacting with people from different backgrounds seems to be an interesting concept because by such means, one gets to know about their culture and ethics. Considering ethnicity, nationality, language etc., there were people from different backgrounds in the team. It depends on how the factors have been taken by the group members so that it can throw an impact on the group work. The differences that have been observed were that it took a small amount of time to understand each other's concepts and the similarities were that every one wanted to complete the tasks by involving a great amount of effort and time. So, while working in a group with members of diverse groups, the processing depends on how the members take different things. It is because as some are from different culture, so it might be quite difficult to interact with them and making them comfortable. But if done efficiently, it can actually help one to know about the values and different factors of their backgrounds and culture and this seems to be a very interesting concept as well. Working along can help to achieve all the objectives and goals at even a much faster rate. Also, while working in the group with people from different cultures, although it was quite tough to interact with them but after a few times, it was interesting enough. Also, all the other members helped each other and tried to understand each other's concepts and thoughts. As it is obvious that while working in a team, there is a possibility that some members might be from different backgrounds, but treating them the same is considered as an important factor. Also, it can be interesting to work with each other and get to know about their culture and other factors more.

3. Challenges for the manager regarding communication

Communication issues are considered as the problems when some sort of mis understanding etc. has been happened between two people (Certo, 2018). Being a manager, there might be a variety of factors regarding the operations or the employees etc. that can cause to some communication or interaction issues. There can be various reasons for it to happen. Some of the well known and common examples of it includes less satisfied employees, unexpected productivity rate etc. According to the case study, the manager was not able to communicate with the passengers and employees. There are various reasons that can be considered as the factors that leads to the communication issues (Whittaker, Forrester and Jones, 2016.). As the authorities of the Heathrow airport has issues new procedures and criteria for the carry on luggage, the manager needs to make sure to assist members so that the changes can be followed. The changes were that the passengers would not be able to carry their laptops and devices along with them inside the aircraft. As the passengers were used to carry the passes also on their devices, so being a manager, it would be difficult to communicate the same to the passengers. So, being a manager, the same has to be communicated to the team members and then they will forward the same to the passengers but in a positive way so that they can cooperate as well. There can be various factors occur as a challenge such as the passengers may not cooperate or the employees were not able to communicate the same to the passengers etc. So, being a manager, it can act quite complicated. Also, there can be some other issues occur as well while communicating the same with the passengers. Some every well known and common examples of it includes ego issues, negative behaviour of some passengers, cultural issues, language barriers etc. It is because there might be the possibility that the passengers get irritated of the fact and does not act cooperative. Therefore, for coping with these communication issues, it can be better if they are being understood the main causes for the new guidelines. It can make them understand better about the changes and they might cooperate as well.

 3. Reflection on what I have learned

From the module, there were various things that I have learned. Whether it is regarding the communication factors or the leadership ones, I have learned much. From the class sessions, I learned much. Also, apart from the class sessions, I utilized a huge amount of time in self study as well. Although it was a bit time consuming, but it helped me to learn enormous number of factors. I used a variety of sources such as internet, books etc. to gain a wide amount of information. Also, in my team, there were various people from different backgrounds, so it was quite an interesting concept. Although there were some mis understandings in between but it was managed. I think efficient leadership skills are required and are a must to manage different operations effectively. Also, communication skills play an important role as well. Efficient and appropriate communication skills can help in dealing with the people in a better way and also leads to a happier and healthier culture. From the feedback received, I made all the required changes and will try not to repeat the same mistakes again. On an overall basis, I learned various factors that will help me in my future assignments and in my basic lif
