Education is considered the most essential pillar of the childs future career development. Bachelors of education is a teaching profession of educating the children in schools. You have been required to engage in the discussion on a question. This unit shall cover the following-

  • Why Right to play is relevant in childhood?
  • What are the different rights of child-care?
  • How right to play is relevant in early childhood educators?

As per the requirement, article 4 tends to be suitable. It is because; this has very well involved the importance of development and implementation rights of children. Different factors are associated with it such as economic, cultural, and social rights. It is the responsibility of state parties that they make the involvement of all measures that are required for the implementation of rights. It is because; after initiating the development of laws and policies, its implementation is the main and necessary step that can help an enormous number of children to stay protected from any sort of external or odd behavior or activity (Ashton, 2014).

In the present convention also, the fact is being focused that state parties have a responsibility to maintain the processing of functions in a way so that all other essential measures for protecting the rights of children can be managed. There are various resources that are being provided to these state parties by governmental means, but the implementation of the same must be done by these parties in order to exclude all issues or factors that can affect children or their mental status. This article holds efficiency and suitability because it covers all important measures and therefore, the same can be used and act helpful as an early childhood educator.


Right to play is considered as an important aspect while considering the rights of children. Article 31, clearly focuses on the fact that children also have equal rights to take rest, enjoy, involve in various indoor as well as outdoor activities. As an early childhood educator, it is very important to involve every feature that is essential for maintaining the administration of factors and rights of children. It is because; the child should also have an appropriate level of recreation because it however helps in an overall relaxation of mind which is necessary (George, Schmidt and McDonagh, 2017). Therefore, this article can be classified as efficient because it represents the importance of the involvement of children in various co-curriculum and recreation activities.

It also focuses on the fact that some sort of encouragement can prove to be helpful for promoting the rights of children in every single aspect. Playing is an important aspect of a children's life and so, ensuring the involvement of ‘Right to Play’ can help as an early childhood educator. It is because; complete participation in artistic and cultural life can make the life of a child quite better and also, by such means, the child will be exposed to the external environment and ways to deal with different factors associated. Therefore, it can be considered that all measures under Right to Play should be clear so that the same can be implemented properly. It will further help in maintaining the rights to children and thus, making them more safe and secure.


Learning can be considered here as an example because in the early childhood period, it is being done by the means of books only. There are an enormous number of ways nowadays that can be involved for achieving an increased amount of efficiency in learning such as internet sources, ways of accessing the net as tablets, laptops, etc. (Abela, Ainsworth and Gupta, 2018). So, this can be considered as a practice of improvement because in early childhood, there was comparatively less scope of advanced technology but now, every single factor can be accessed by the means of it. This can be termed as an appropriate example of respecting the right to play for children because when the process of learning will improve, it will somehow advance the lifestyle and understand the rate of people as well.

Therefore, by the means of advanced ways of learning, parents and guardians will tend to make involvement of different leisure activities for their children as along with education, there are various factors that are essential for maintaining a balance between different functions of life. Although learning by the means of books is considered as an efficient way because one can be able to achieve a wide and appropriate set of information from that. But a fact can be ensured here is that if along with books, some sort of help can be taken from online material, then it can further help in maximizing the understanding along with knowledge of an individual (Lehmann, Sanders and Sultmann, 2014).
