St. Mary hospital is important part of University of London and merge with the Imperial college of London. It is provided different types of services like service Doctors/GPs, Blood and transplant services, Hospital and urgent care centres. Hospital is linked with the different hospitals to provide services to other patient and supply the equipment and medicines (Heizer, Render and Munson, 2017).

The two topics which is selected by the hospital for improvement such as managing quality and managing people in operation and supply chains. These are related to hospital activities and bring out the development regarding to hospital services and process the apply for the business activities. In the context of the managing quality required to focus on the overall performance of the business that impact on the procedure and managing people in the hospital regarding to supply chains as well as operations. Hence, in comparison with the hospital it is required to apply different principles in the St Mary hospital where includes the frequent thought to arrange the different quality.

Many peoples are working into the operation it means they are concerned about the inside activities of the hospital and in the supply chain people aware for the outsider activities in the hospital. In the context of the identify the different issues that face in the hospital such as labour cost where influence to people to do extra work and but not provide payment according to that it create problem in between regarding to work and blame to each other. People face the problem of the training and development because in the hospitality sector all the work are not work without any training because they do not understand how to perform in the job role. They are working in to different shifts that impact on the performance. In the day shift they are performing effectively as compare with night shift. The people in the supply chain focus on the flow of the goods and services on time. If hospital does not provide proper training them so it create problem them (Ross, 2017).

For address the different issue apply the theory of the systematic management because all the activities in the supply chain and operation department conduct in systematic manner. According to this theory they are working on time and focus on the job role. To become efficient regrading to provide work require to training and development on time that helps to understand the job role. In the supply chain management focus on the flow of the inventory for this require to apply inventory management system that track the record of the all the inventories at the different level. From raw material to use by the doctor track that how many stock require for the operation and other treatment. In the hospital arriving different types of people and handle them required to operation department focus on the activities of the outsider. It helps to keep safe and provide good services to the patient (Noe and et. al., 2017).

There is applied to triple bottom line method which is important structure that categorised into 3 factors that impact on the performance off the employees and on St Mary hospital activities. In the present time some hospital follow the particular framework that can relate with the entire performance and develop effective for business. There are different aspects that operate by the different organisation in the perfect manner. As per the above analysis it is suggested that St. Mary hospital should focus on the both areas where face different issues. To sort out the problem apply the different theories and according to that manage people in the Hospital. For this purpose required to provide training to employees and develop different programmes in the hospital. To manage the quality in the hospital contact with good dealer and keep stock at right place because all the patients are depended on the quality things. Different people are working into different department for the management followed the Artificial intelligence and automation that allow for the simultaneously review in their operations and recognise all the issues that arise regarding the quality. Moreover to improve the scope required to focus on the improvement in respect to managing to people in the supply chain in the hospital. Another suggestion for St Mary hospital is connected with regular inspection that align the quality standard in the hospitality sector in the UK.

These are impact on the performance and help to perform effectively.
