INTRODUCTION

Human Resource Management is an important part of an organization that has some specific goals and targets. Mostly an organization performs different operations and functions that are helpful for completing tasks effectively and efficiently.

Human resource management is an important part of an organization to maintain relationship between employees and management. 'Say it with Chocolate' is a leading organization in United Kingdom to provide the best services to their regular customers. The cited company focused on producing new chocolate product attracting more customers and also provide them best services in market.

This organization is located in the United Kingdom to expanding their business in all over the world. They have specific goals and objectives so that always motivated to their employee for growth and development. This firm has scope and purpose of the organization that would be managed by HRM department. They have different duties to perform in effective ways such as Recruitment and Selection. HRM department is to control the entire operations in proper ways.

TASK 1

a) Purpose and Significance of Human Resource Management

Human Resource Management is managing the whole business process in proper way. They are performing different tasks such as providing training and development programs, recruitment process, selection process so on. This is important for an organization to handle the all-critical situations in effective ways. HRM is the high level of managing policies that are consistently creating an effective relationship with employees in which it gives many services and facilities to their employees.

This department uses different technologies for increasing their productivity and profitabilty in marketplace (Mackenzie and Rahim, 2018). 'Say it with Chocolate' is an organization to manage business planning by Manager because they would handle operations and activities in proper way. 'Say it with Chocolate' has some responsibilities and roles to achieve their objectives. HRM is handle the business logics and it creating an effective strategy in this organization. They are performing different tasks for business development process is such as:

  • Customer Services- This organization has provided better customer services to their regular client. Time to time, they are planning a new strategy according to the market conditions. They are mainly focused to deliver better products and services and it can improve the business environment. They are using different technologies to increase their profitability and productivity in marketplace. 'Say it with Chocolate' is providing the best services to client and always try to improve their services in marketplace.
  • Conducting improvement and training program- Human Resource Management is conducting different training programs for their employee because they provide an effective training to their employee. They can enhance their skills for growth and development in marketplace. This is very important to increase their capabilities towards business process to move at the top position. The main objective of organization to growing the business all over the world. It plays important role for growth and development.
  • Managing the employee performance- The top organization is always try to provide all the services to their employee because it is very important for an organization to identify capabilities of each and every employee. 'Say it with Chocolate' is always improving their services so that employees are only focusing on their targets and goals. HRM is specious part to maintain the business performance (Buettne and Timm, 2018). Human Resource Management is main part of organization that helps to achiving their tasks. This department is planning a new business planning and strategies to expanding their business in global world.
  • Selection and Recruitment- Human Resource Management is conducting a hiring program where they recruit those people who have skills and knowledge to solve problems in easy way. This section and recruitment process is helpful to hire an efficient person to maintain business operations efficiently and effectively. This is the main task would be performed by HRM. They can be maintaining the whole business process and functions. The recruitment is a process to establish a connection between current employer and candidates. Selection is a process to hire efficient person that would be suitable for particular post.

'Say it with chocolate' is a leading organization in which they have efficient HR officer to control business operations in proper ways.

  • Recruitment- This is important process which has specific responsibilities towards an organization. They can be planning a new strategy to increase their business. Recruitment is a process to recruit people on the basis of their knowledge and ability. The HR officer will identify perfect candidates for particular post. Receptionist is handle the business operation and function in effective way. It is a multitasking person to do all the work at same time. They were coordinates with other departments such as Administration, technical team, Human resource and other. They are taking incoming call and forwarding call to other department. This type of work has to be done by Receptionist.

They have to insert the data on computer system so that this knowledge is required for each and every person. Most of the organization is technology to handle the situation through system.
  • Efficiency– They have efficiency to maintain their work and completed on time. Receptionist is only person to handle all the information of organization. It will arrange the data in proper manner.

These are the best platform to promoting the job vacancy by Advertisement because it is the best medium to share the information. 'Say it with chocolate' is generating an affective article for candidates in which more people are attracted towards the advertisement. They are using two different type of advertisement discussed in given below:

It is a learning method to learn a new thing for development. This training is provided under the guidance of expert in which provide the best training program for growth and development. “Say it with chocolate is conducting many training session for people to improve their skills. This training is based on-job training that would be learn a new thing. They provide proper guidance to improve the capabilities.

It can be managing the whole business process in proper manner. There are some important approaches that would be applicable in business process and it can be applied at workplace. In this way, it can be easily achieved their targets and objectives are following:

Microsoft is a leading organization and always launched a new product in marketplace. They are always tried to achieve their goals and targets. They have planning a new strategy for innovate idea for growth and development.
  • Development of skills and knowledges- this is the best approaches for organization to develop their knowledges by training program because organization is provided many training session is very helpful for growth and development. Apprenticeship is very important for employee to increases their knowledges that would be helpful for company.

Some times, the employee should feel demotivated and reduce their efficiency because the organization is give a proper response towards the employee. Microsoft always to provide the better facilities and services because they know very well, it is important for growth and development.

There are different activities provide to employee so that they directly interacted to other people and share the knowledges and information. This is the best way to interacted other people to creating an effective business environment. There are already many competitors in market so that it is very difficult to selling the product in market. Time to time, they are giving many rewards on the basis of their performance.

Employee engagement is the approaches to understand the need of employee and then improving their performance in proper ways. It is build a trust to their employee and customer so that they can share the information to other employee. It is very helpful for creating an effective relationship with management system.

The team engagement should be connecting with manager to giving many suggestion related business logic, operation, performance etc. with the help of these approaches, it can be build a trust on the company in which they focused towards the aim or objective. In this way, it increases the value in marketplace to fulfil the need of customer in proper ways. Microsoft is good company and always think about their employee in which it contributed as part to improving the performance of employee. This will be important for organization to maintain their business activities and functionality.
